Oatmeal Cake(This Is The Cake My Mom Would Make, I Love It.) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. quick cooking oats
1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Pour boiling water over oats.
Cover and let stand for 20 minutes.
Cream butter.
Gradually add sugars, beating until fluffy.
Blend in vanilla and eggs.
Add remaining ingredients. Mix well.
Bake for about 50 to 55 minutes.
