Bishop'S Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/3 c. flour
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. milk with 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 egg
Preparation
    Mix flour, brown sugar and salt.
    Cut in shortening.
    Reserve 2/3 cup of this for topping.
    To remainder, add baking powder, soda, cinnamon, beaten egg and milk.
    Beat until smooth.
    Pour in 12 x 8-inch greased pan and sprinkle topping.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
