Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    salt
    1 c. butter
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, one at a time, and beat after each addition.
    Combine baking powder, salt and flour.
    Fold into batter.
    Add vanilla.
    Roll out 1/2-inch thick using as little flour as possible.
    Cut into shapes.
    Bake on cookie sheet at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
