Famous Cinnamon Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. milk
4 cakes yeast
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 c. melted shortening
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
6 c. flour (approximately)
brown sugar or white
cooked raisins
cinnamon
1 cube margarine
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in lukewarm milk.
Heat shortening barely enough to melt it and add to milk and yeast mixture.
Add salt, sugar, eggs and vanilla; beat with rotary beater until well blended.
Add enough of remaining cup of flour by hand to make dough stiff enough to handle.
Pour onto well floured board and work in additional flour until stiff.
