Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. milk
    4 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. flour
    salt
    8 eggs
    4 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 qt. cream
Preparation
    Heat milk and half of sugar.
    Mix rest of sugar, flour and eggs; beat until light.
    Add to boiling milk; cook until thickened.
    Add vanilla and cream before freezing.
    Makes 2 gallons.
