Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Sift flour,
    soda, cream of tartar and salt; set aside. Cream butter and sugar well.
    Add egg and vanilla.
    Stir until well mixed.
    Add flour to creamed mixture, a little at a time, until all
    flour\thas
    been added.
    Grease cookie sheet.\tRoll and cut out.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
