Quick Mix 2 Egg Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Sift flour and sugar.
    Add shortening, 1/2 cup milk and blend together.
    Beat with electric mixer for 2 minutes or by hand 300 strokes.
    Add remaining milk, vanilla and eggs.
    Blend together and beat an additional 2 minutes.
    Pour into 2 greased pans (9-inch layer pans).
    Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Can be baked in Bundt pan.
