Pumpkin Blossom Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    15 to 20 pumpkin or squash blossoms
    2 or 3 stems fresh basil or 2 Tbsp. dried
    4 or 5 eggs
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    3 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking power
    1/4 c. oil
    2 c. water
    enough flour to make like thin pancake batter
    grated Romano cheese
Preparation
    Chop blossoms and basil and add to slightly beaten eggs.
    Add remaining ingredients and fry in hot oil like pancakes.
    Drop by large tablespoonfuls in oil.
    Fry on both sides and put on platter. Sprinkle with grated Romano cheese.
