Jelly Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1/2 stick margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
    3/4 c. milk
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Cream the butter and margarine.
    Add sugar gradually; continue beating.
    Add eggs, one at a time; mix well.
    Add flour, bit by bit.
    Add milk after each addition of flour.
    Grease and flour 3 layer cake pans.
    Bake in a 300\u00b0 oven until browned and shrinks from sides of pan.
    Remove cake from pans; place on wire racks. When cool, spread with your favorite jelly.
    Spread lemon frosting on top and sides.
