Grandmommy Q'S Scrapple - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. fresh pork (same cut as bacon)
    2 lb. pork liver
    4 c. corn meal
    1 1/2 oz. ground pepper
    2 1/2 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Don't get meat too lean.
    Cook in 2 quarts water; cook liver less time.
    When tender, put through a meat grinder and add 4 more quarts water.
    Add corn meal, salt and pepper.
    Simmer for about an hour, stirring every few minutes.
    Pour into wax paper lined small bread pans.
    Cool and freeze or slice 1/2-inch thick and fry on each side until crispy.
    Serve with chili sauce.
