Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1 (No. 2 size) can fruit, drained (your choice)
1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. fruit juice
Preparation

Cream butter or margarine and sugar together until fluffy. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder.
Stir in alternately with the milk; beat until smooth.
Pour into greased loaf pan or 2-quart casserole.
Spoon drained fruit over batter.
Sprinkle sugar over fruit.
Pour fruit juice over top.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
Serve with whipped cream, ice cream, Cool Whip or milk.
