Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew meat
    1 large onion
    1 bag carrots
    6 potatoes
    flour
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Flour stew meat, salt and pepper; brown in skillet in Wesson oil. Cut up vegetables. Put all ingredients in 4-quart boiler. Add water to cover. Cook 1 hour on low heat. Mix 1 teaspoon cornstarch in water to thicken stew, if desired.
