Beet Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped carrots
    2 c. chopped beets
    water
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. beef stock
    1 c. finely shredded cabbage
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Barely cover carrots and beets with water, simmer, covered, for 20 minutes.
    Add butter, beef stock, cabbage and vinegar. Simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
