Ingredients

1 c. sliced strawberries
3/4 c. water
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 c. washed and dried strawberries
baked pie shell (sprinkle with sugar before baking)
Cool Whip or whipped and sweetened heavy cream
2 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 egg (unbeaten)
1 c. milk
1/2 c. or more raisins
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation

Blend flour, butter and sugar together until crumbs form. Reserve 1/4 cup mixture for topping.
Mix all together, except raisins and nuts.
Add the raisins and nuts.
Pour into greased and floured square glass cake pan (9 x 9-inch or 10 x 10-inch); sprinkle with reserved 1/4 cup topping.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
