Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. butter (2 sticks)
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    1 c. milk
    5 eggs
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Cream together shortening, butter and sugar.
    Add flour and milk, mixing well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each. Add baking powder, salt and lemon; mix well.
    Pour into a tube or Bundt pan and bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
