Steak With Mushroom Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. beef sirloin steak
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 c. finely chopped fresh mushrooms
    1/2 c. finely chopped green onions
    2/3 c. seasoned bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cut edges of steak to prevent curling.
    Place steak on rack in broiling pan.
    Put in broiler so top of steak is about 5 to 6-inches from heat.
    For medium doneness, broil steak about 10 minutes on each side.
    During the last 5 minutes, spread topping on steak.
    Continue broiling until cheese melts, approximately 3 to 5 minutes.
