Carrot Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sliced carrots
    3 cans (6 c.) chicken broth
    2 oz. onions
    6 oz. Velveeta cheese
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Place carrots, onions and broth in 4-quart saucepan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and cook until carrots are tender.
    Remove 1 cup and chop fine.
    Blend with cheese; return to saucepan.
    Season to taste.
    May be pureed all together, if preferred.
