Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can mandarin oranges
    1 large can pineapple tidbits
    1 c. nutmeats
    1 or 2 bananas
    1/2 c. maraschino cherries
    1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
    1 small pkg. vanilla pudding (not instant)
Preparation
    Cook pudding with juice from fruit (not milk); cool.
    Fold in fruit (don't stir).
