Pancit(Oriental Noodles) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. pansit (Oriental noodles)
    2 lb. shrimp, pork or chicken
    1/2 c. shredded carrots
    1/2 cabbage, chopped
    2 c. water or broth
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
    salt to taste
    3 cloves garlic, chopped or crushed
    pepper to taste
    1/2 c. bean sprouts
    bunch green onions, chopped
    1/2 c. soy sauce
    1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
Preparation
    Heat oil in a skillet.
    Saute garlic and onions.
    Add shrimp, pork or chicken.
    Add soy sauce and pepper and cook until dry. Add water or chicken broth and cook until meat is tender.
    Add noodles and mix.
    Cook on low fire.
    Add vegetables until cooked or half-cooked.
    Add salt to taste.
    Serve hot.
    Sprinkle with chopped green onions over the top.
