Lemon Marinated Chuck Roast - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 lb. beef chuck pot roast, cut in 1 1/2-inch thick
1 tsp. lemon peel, grated
1/2 c. lemon juice
1/3 c. cooking oil
2 Tbsp. green onions with tops, sliced
4 tsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Score fat edges of roast.
Place meat in shallow baking dish. Combine lemon peel and juice, cooking oil, green onion, sugar, salt, Worcestershire, mustard and pepper.
Pour over roast. Cover; let stand 3 hours at room temperature or overnight in the refrigerator, turning roast several times.
