Creamy Pralines - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. packed light brown sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter
2 1/4 c. pecan halves
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Check your barometric pressure, must be 30 in. or above. Combine sugar, cream of tartar, salt and milk.
Stir over low heat until sugar dissolves.
Wipe crystals from side of pan with cloth or rubber spatula.
Cook to 236\u00b0 to 238\u00b0.
Cool to 220\u00b0.
