Turkey Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground turkey
1 onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 large cloves garlic
1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (4 oz.) can diced green chiles
2 (28 oz.) cans whole tomatoes with juice, crushed
2 (16 oz.) cans kidney beans, drained
sour cream (optional)
shredded Cheddar cheese (optional)
guacamole (optional)
Preparation

In a 6-quart pot, brown turkey and onion in oil over medium-high heat.
Drain off any excess fat.
Peel and crush garlic; add to turkey mixture with chili powder, salt, chiles, crushed tomatoes and juice and beans.
Stir well.
Heat to boiling stirring often.
Reduce to low heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, about 30 minutes.
Serve topped with sour cream, Cheddar cheese and guacamole, if desired.
