Apple Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. apples, ground (unpeeled)
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Blend in beaten eggs and apples. Stir in dry ingredients.
    Blend in nuts.
    Bake 55 to 60 minutes at 300\u00b0.
