Mound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 devil's food cake mix (without pudding), baked, cooled and sliced in half
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. coconut
    20 large marshmallows
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook milk, margarine and sugar 10 minutes or until becomes syrupy.
    Remove from heat.
    Add marshmallows and beat until smooth; add coconut and vanilla.
    Pour over bottom half of cake. Place other half of cake on top.
