Yeast Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. unsifted flour
    4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    6 Tbsp. shortening
    1 c. milk
    1 pkg. yeast
    3 Tbsp. lukewarm water
Preparation
    Sift first 4 ingredients; cut in shortening.
    Soften yeast in 3 tablespoons lukewarm water; add to flour mixture.
    Add milk to make soft dough; knead until smooth.
    Roll and cut.
    Let rise 20 minutes.
    Bake in hot oven at 450\u00b0.
