Ingredients

2 1/2 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. margarine
1 c. creamy or chunky peanut butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

In small bowl, stir flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
In large bowl with mixer at medium speed, beat margarine and peanut butter until smooth.
Blend sugars, eggs and vanilla.
Add flour mixture.
Beat until well blended.
Dough may need to be refrigerated to easily shape into 1-inch balls.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Flatten with fork dipped in sugar, making crisscross patterns.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
