Pineapple Scalloped - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 (No. 2) can chunk pineapple and juice
    4 or 5 slices bread, cubed
    1/4 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Dissolve sugar in pineapple juice.
    Add remaining ingredients. Mix in bowl; let absorb.
    Place mixture in lightly buttered dish. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    This can be eaten hot or cold; also good reheated.
