Lamb And String Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 stick butter
    5 or 6 shoulder chops, cut in half
    1 large onion, sliced and cut in half
    2 minced garlic cloves
    1 can plum tomatoes
    5 potatoes, peeled and cut in half
    1 box frozen whole string beans
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute chops in butter.
    Add onions and garlic.
    Add plum tomatoes and season; cook for 1/2 hour.
    Then add potatoes and cook for another 15 minutes.
    Then add string beans.
    Cook until done (15 minutes or so).
    Serve with Italian bread and a green salad.
