1/3 c. warm water
1/3 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 egg yolks
3 egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff.
Combine sugar and vanilla; beat until stiff.
Spread over pie.
Bake at 275\u00b0 until lightly browned.
