Hickory Hill Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    2 c. boiling water
    4 eggs, beaten
    2 c. milk
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over meal and shortening.
    Let cool.
    Add milk and beaten eggs.
    Then add salt and baking powder last.
    Pour into a greased pan and bake at 400\u00b0 for 1/2 hour.
