Corn Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. cornmeal
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 Tbsp. baking powder
    4 Tbsp. shortening, melted
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Combine eggs, water, sugar and salt. Mix cornmeal, flour and baking powder.
    Add shortening.
    (Bacon drippings are best for shortening.) Pour into corn stick molds and bake for 20 minutes.
    Yields 4 to 6 servings.
