Cheddar Cheese Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large onion, sliced thin
1 c. celery, chopped
1/4 c. margarine
1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. dry mustard
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 c. chicken broth
2 large potatoes, cubed
2 medium carrots, cubed
3 c. milk
3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
salt
pepper
Preparation

Saute onion and celery in margarine.
Stir in flour, dry mustard and Worcestershire sauce.
Cook for 2 minutes until vegetables are coated and bubbly.
Stir in chicken broth, potatoes and carrots.
Bring to a boil.
Cover and simmer 25 minutes.
Add milk; cook until almost boiling.
Reduce heat to low.
Stir in cheese; stir until melted.
Season with salt and pepper.
