Jalapeno Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon
    1/2 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. cornmeal
    1 egg, beaten
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. Mexicorn
    1/2 c. green chilies
Preparation
    Fry bacon, save drippings.
    Combine dry ingredients and mix well.
    Add egg, butter and milk to dry ingredients.
    Then add corn, chilies and bacon to mixture.
    Mix.
    Batter should be stiff. Add 2 tablespoons bacon drippings to skillet, then heat for 1 minute.
    Add mixture to skillet and bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown.
