Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
3 c. sifted plain flour
3 sticks oleo
1 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. rum flavoring
4 to 5 Tbsp. cocoa
6 eggs
Preparation

Cream oleo and sugar until light and add rum flavoring. Add eggs, one at a time.
Add cocoa to flour and baking powder and sift.
Add
this
to
oleo
mixture,
a
little at a time, alternating, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
Pour in greased, floured and brown papered tube pan.
Bake 1 1/2 hours at 300\u00b0
or
until inserted toothpick comes out clean.
Do not overbake.
