Savory Pea Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 cans LeSueur peas
    1 can water chestnuts
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1 medium jar pimiento
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 stick margarine
Preparation
    Drain water chestnuts, reserving liquid.
    Blend liquid with soup.
    Saute onion, celery and gren pepper in butter in a skillet. Stir into this mixture, peas, pimiento and soup.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Turn into buttered casserole dish.
    Cover top with bread crumbs.
    Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Yield: 12 or more servings.
