Dutch Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c butter
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 c. milk
3 egg whites, beaten stiff
6 apples, peeled and sliced in eighths
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients.
Add butter in as pie crust.
Mix egg yolks and milk; stir into dry ingredients.
Fold in egg whites. Spread in 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
Arrange apples in rows on top. Mix topping mix and sprinkle on apples.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
