Buttermilk Crumb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    1 level tsp. baking powder
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda, dissolved in milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar, shortening and baking powder into crumbs. Keep 1 small cup of crumbs for top of cakes.
    Then add eggs, buttermilk with soda and vanilla.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Yields 4 cakes
    done in old fashioned tins.
