Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine or butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 large ripe bananas, mashed
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sour cream or sour milk
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Beat butter, sugar and eggs in a large bowl with electric mixer for 3 minutes or until light and fluffy; stir in bananas. Sift flour, soda and salt onto wax paper.
Add gradually to butter mixture and stir until well mixed.
Add sour cream or sour milk; stir until smooth.
Pour batter into well-greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Sprinkle top with chopped walnuts.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour or until center springs back when touched.
Cool 10 minutes on wire rack.
Remove from pan.
