Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon or lime Jell-O
    1 (8 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 c. miniature marshmallows
    1/2 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
    1 c. chopped apples
    3 oz. pkg. cream cheese
Preparation
    Put Jell-O in a saucepan. Drain pineapple; add water to pineapple juice to make 1 cup. Let come to a boil. Add cream cheese and marshmallows; let dissolve. Put in long Pyrex dish. Add pineapple and apples, then Cool Whip. Mix well. Refrigerate.
