Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 2 1/2 lb. round steak (3/4-inch thickness)
    1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 to 2 Tbsp. oil
    1 large onion, sliced
    1 (7 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes, undrained and cut up
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Preparation
    Cut meat into serving size pieces.
    In a small bowl, combine flour, salt and pepper.
    Coat meat with seasoned flour (use all the flour). In a large skillet, brown meat in hot oil.
    Add remaining ingredients. Simmer, covered, 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
    Serve with potatoes or noodles.
    Makes 6 servings.
