Sweet And Sour Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium red cabbage
    salt and pepper
    3 sour apples, sliced
    3 Tbsp. bacon fat
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    4 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation
    Shred cabbage very fine and pour a little boiling water over it.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Add cabbage and apples to bacon fat.
    Add a little more boiling water to mixture.
    Simmer until tender.
    Sprinkle with flour, vinegar and sugar.
    Simmer another 5 to 10 minutes.
