Cowboy Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal mix
1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. milk
2 eggs, well beaten
2 Tbsp. cooking oil
1 small onion, chopped
1 (8 oz.) can cream-style corn
2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
12 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 Tbsp. chopped red pimentos
Preparation

Combine the first 4 ingredients; mix well.
Add milk, eggs and oil, stirring well.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Pour into a greased 9-inch square baking pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes, or until lightly browned.
