Chuck Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. chuck roast
    crushed garlic
    salt
    black pepper
    red pepper
    soy sauce
    oil
    flour
Preparation
    Stuff roast with crushed garlic, salt and black and red pepper. Plenty of salt on outside (this makes it brown nicely). Marinate overnight in a baking plastic bag with soy sauce.
    Take out of plastic bag.
    Brown on all sides in an iron pot (no flour). Cover and cook on low heat 3 to 4 hours.
    Take out roast and thicken gravy with a little flour.
    Soy sauce mixture can be frozen and used over in the plastic bag.
