Easy Party Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. M&M's (3/4 lb. bag)

Preparation

Cream shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla.
Sift together flour, soda and salt.
Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture; mix well.
Stir in 1/2 cup M&M's (reserve the rest for decoration). Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Decorate tops with rest of candy.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
