Strawberry Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. strawberry jello
    1 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. sliced frozen strawberries
    1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    3 medium bananas, mashed
    1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
    1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Mix jello with water until dissolved.
    Fold in strawberries, bananas, pineapple and nuts. Pour half of mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan and chill until firm, about 1 hour.
    Keep rest of mixture at room temperature.
    When firm, spread on sour cream and gently pour on rest of mixture.
    Refrigerate until firm.
