Kentucky Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco oil
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. blackberry jam
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Measure and beat all ingredients, except nuts, at low speed until just mixed.
    Increase speed to high and beat 8 minutes or until sugar is completely dissolved.
    Fold in nuts and pour into 2 (9 x 9) pans.
    Bake 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
