Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 medium onion
    1 bunch broccoli
    8 bacon slices
    raisins (optional)
Preparation
    At least 1 day before serving, mix mayo, sugar, vinegar and onion; refrigerate.
    When ready to serve, chop broccoli, stems and all.
    Cook bacon until crisp.
    Crumble.
    Mix well the broccoli, bacon and dressing.
    Add raisins (optional).
