Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
5 Tbsp. shortening
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. Bakewell cream leavening
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar; beat in eggs.
Add vanilla and milk.
Mix in sifted dry ingredients.
On floured board, roll and cut cookies.
Sprinkle with sugar.
Bake on greased cookie sheet for 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
