Turkey-Rice Skillet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground raw turkey
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes, undrained
    1 c. water
    2/3 c. long grain rice
    1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    3/4 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Preparation
    In a large skillet cook turkey until brown; drain well.
    Stir in tomatoes, water, rice, chili powder and pepper.
    Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer about 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
    Stir together milk and flour; add to skillet. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
    Cook and stir 1 minute more.
    Add cheese; stir until melted.
    Makes 4 servings.
