German Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. German chocolate (sweet)
Preparation
    Cream sugar, shortening, eggs and vanilla.
    Add buttermilk and mix.
    Add dry ingredients and mix.
    Then add melted chocolate. Put in a greased and floured angel food cake pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Test with toothpick.
    When it comes out clean, cake is done.
    Put cake on dish and cover right away.
